Having welcomed our new clerk at the beginning of the year, we are pleased to say the working relationship has gone from strength to strength.


Wildflower Meadow
News - April 2025. Grindleton Parish Council were joined by Grindleton C E Primary School to celebrate our village wildflower mini-meadow. We hope that this will be a lovely asset to the village and encourage others to make nature positive additions to their gardens so that together we can create a Wildlife Friendly Village! Champion Class Winner 2024
We have won the top accolade in the Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition, We are 'Champion of Champions'! We have achieved this by worling together, showing that Grindleton not only is a fantastic village, but also a wonderful community. Thank you to everyone who made a difference.


Best Kept Small Village - winner 2023
In 2023 the Parish Council (PC) entered the Lancashire Best Kept Village competition. Grindleton is a beautiful village situated in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Parish Council enters this competition to focus attention on maintenance of the village and hopes to foster community cohesion and a pride in our environment.
