Village MaintenanceÂ
Grindleton Parish Council helps maintain the appearance of the village throughout the year by employing a Lengthsman to carry out a range of routine maintenance tasks, including keeping public areas clean, tidy and well cared for, Â the maintenance of footpaths and stiles, minor drains and seats & notice boards.

The Parish Council also arranges for hedgerows around the village to be cut back at the end of the summer season. This helps to keep footpaths, roads and public spaces accessible while avoiding disturbance to nesting birds during the spring and summer months.
