Bowland High School
Bowland High School was founded in 1949. It is now a very successful 11-16 years-old mixed high school, with specialist status in performing arts. It has an outstanding website and so there is little merit in reproducing information here.

Hire charges for Bowland High School facilities
The school has a range of facilities for community use, including sports hall, dance studio and classrooms. The purpose built sports hall has 3 badminton courts, indoor cricket nets, football, netball and basketball markings. All fixed equipment is included in the hire charge, eg basketball hoops, netball goals, badminton and cricket nets; however any further equipment must be provided by the hiring group eg basketballs, netballs, badminton racquets etc.
From September 2009, their facilities will also be available for use by individuals, clubs and groups without public liability insurance. For a nominal charge, these groups will be able to make bookings on a one off or block booking basis. The school hopes this will make their facilities even more accessible to the local community.

Bowland High minibus hire
The Bowland High minibus is available for hire. As part of their work to improve the extended services provision with the school and the community, the school has just taken delivery of a brand new 14 seater (15 incl. driver) mini bus for use by local schools and community groups.
