Police and Communities Together programme

Lancashire Constabulary logo

The Police and Communities Together programme (PACT) gives residents the chance to influence what happens in our neighbourhood. PACT is your opportunity to come along and discuss community issues with the Police. The aim is to take a problem-solving approach in order to resolve any issues raised and this often involves the Police working with residents and partner agencies.

PACT Meetings are held at the village hall, community centre or school grounds of the following villages on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 19.00-20.00. All are welcome at any venue, from any village. The next PACT meeting can be determined by typing your postcode into the Lancashire Constabulary Neighbourhood Policing web-pageOpens in a new window.

Neighbourhood Watch schemes can cut crime and the opportunities for crime, help and reassure those who live in fear of crime, and encourage neighbourliness and closer communities.

Below are the Neighbourhood Watch Contact Persons in the village and the areas they are responsible for. Villagers with any concerns should contact the appropriate person or ring the police direct. Villagers are encouraged to “Be Vigilant” and if the opportunity arises, photograph and/or make a note of suspicious events.
