Crossfold House holiday cottage
Sympathetically restored from a former barn, this delightful cottage provides comfortably furnished accommodation for up to three persons with one double and one single bedroom, shower room with wash basin and toilet. The cosy sitting area with television has within it a corner kitchen with all modern conveniences including oven & hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge.
Bedding and towels are provided. Electricity is included in the weekly rental, but during the winter months a small surcharge may be added to the price. Heating is provided by modern storage heaters throughout. There is a garden area behind the cottage for guests to enjoy and parking in front of the cottage for one vehicle. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
The cottage is available on a weekly basis from 2:00pm Saturday to 10:00am Saturday, at a cost of £210 per week. Weekends and short breaks are available at £40 per night (minimum 2 nights). Please note that from the beginning of October to the end of March, we add a supplement of £10 towards heating costs.

Harrop Fold Cottages
Harrop Fold is a hamlet 3 miles from Grindleton with a history dating back to the 12th century. Within Harrop Fold are a few cottages and farmsteads and an historic chapel. Harrop Fold was awarded first prize in the competition for the Best Kept Hamlet in Lancashire during 2002, 2003 and 2004.
The Bradley family built Bradley House, The Old Granary and Manor House Cottage in the years between 1650 and 1800; they were once major landowners in the area and are ancestors of the present owner.
There are 4 cottages within the accommodation. The Old Granary sleeps two, Manor House Cottage can sleep three, Bradley House sleeps up to four persons and Manor House sleeps up to five. All the accommodation is well appointed, with relaxing sitting rooms, exposed beams, colour TVs and well equipped kitchens. Prices range from £195-£495 per week depending on the season and the number of persons. Off-season and last minute breaks are available from £20 per person per night (minimum of three nights stay). Calligraphy by Norman Kelly
Calligraphy has been described as “music to the eyes” and Norman enjoys the challenge that it brings. He works in traditional and contemporary styles, and has undertaken a number of recent commissions. These have ranged from simple settings of poetry and prose to producing wedding table plans and cards, and from a series of route maps for walks around Clitheroe to the design of logos.

David Dugdale lives in the village and has three enterprises:
- Dugdales-Digital was established 1989 (and formally known as Dugdales TV, Video and Satellite); the business undertakes specialist TV satellite and aerial installations and repairs.
- Mickeys Mansion was established when he and his partner Ann bought a bankrupt 7-bed Florida holiday home in 2008 which was renovated to a high standard. They offer high-end rentals for holidaymakers and golfers.
- Dugdales Properties was established last year and offers bankrupt and liquidated holiday homes at discounted prices in the US.
